About the Artist
Andrew Fallat (Seattle) received a 2009 GAP to defray the cost of construction and documentation of a portable stone-skipping machine. Andrew plans to make a machine capable of skipping custom ground or found stones in urban waterways large and small. The artist wants this piece to demonstrate the complexity of the actual activity in both physical and mental terms. This grant will allow him to generate more concise documentation.
Information included above was provided by artist at the time of application.
