About the Artist
Christina Anna Montilla is a multi-genre writer and researcher from the borders of Seattle. Her works of short fiction are inspired by her family’s roots within the periphery, where heartbreak and boredom were generational. Christina is an advocate as a writer; her critical essays and works of literary journalism dive into the deeper structures of society to challenge our perceptions of our neighbors. She is a former co-editor of Pacific Lutheran University’s journal of social justice The Matrix. Christina is currently at work on a collection of short stories on how we lose and how we recover.
