About the Artist
John Webster is an artist and inventor living in the Pacific Northwest. Growing up he learned from a father who could build and repair almost anything and a mother who loved art and craft. In this environment he developed a unique vision and believes beauty, elegance and even work-arounds for the laws of physics may always be possible. John brings creativity, problem solving skills, and non-traditional approaches to all his endeavors. Expanding on prior work at Pilchuck Glass School, his current body of work focuses on opportunities to reflect and refract light with incongruently hollow kiln cast glass.
