Hapke received her MFA in Dance from OSU, her BA from University of Oregon and her Laban Certification from Integrated Movement Studies.

Kristin received a 2013 GAP for productions costs, performer's pay, and studio rental for rehearsals for the production of an evening length performance of her current improvisational dance project, Terrain. This project is inspired by flocks of animals: herds of deer, swarms of bees, consortiums of crabs. In addition to her six dancers, the project will also employ an improvisational musician to play live during performances.
