About the Artist
Mimi Williams (Olympia) received a 2011 GAP to buy a printing press to create new prints with colored ink. She is a relief printmaker and currently print by impressing the ink by hand and using a variety of papers to add the color, which is unique, but very labor intensive. She would like to expand the range of colors in her prints by mixing inks and printing a series of colored prints. A printing press would allow her to register the block and add layers of color.
