About the Artist
Painter and sculptor Terrell Lozada (Seattle) focuses on interiors. Using architecture as a metaphor for the body, her work explores the similarities between the physical space of rooms and the metaphysical space within the body. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and cultural centers, including the Spokane Arts Commission, Chase Gallery; the Port Angeles Fine Art Center; the SAM Gallery; the American Institute of Architects; the Center for Contemporary Art; and Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. Lozada was a recipient of a grant from WESTAF. She was also featured in EDGE, Gage & More (2013), a visual arts exhibit in Port Townsend featuring EDGE Professional Development Program graduates.
