About the Artist
For more than a decade Victoria Raymond (Seattle) lived in New York creating three-dimensional illustrations for children’s books and editorial publications. The book, Brown Cow, Green Grass, Yellow Mellow Sun, received rave reviews and is in the permanent collection at the Mazza Museum: International Art from Picture Books.
Victoria moved back to Seattle and began to transition to making fine art. This new work is inspired by the diversity and beauty found in nature. It draws from that source to develop “unique” sculptural images between the narrative and abstract. She is a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
