About the Artist
My sculptures are a reflection of a belief in craftsmanship as a supportive construct to concept. The lines and forms in my work are drawn from a combination of man-made elements (industry, travel, vessels) and nature (pods, survival, efficiency). My sculptures are distilled forms designed to survive hypothetical movement; they are containers of fragility and durability, expressing the necessary balance of innate attributes to endure the hardships of a mobile existence.
