Event Information

Don’t be so quick to dismiss poetry as a thing of the past! Bridging the gap between ancient and contemporary, poet and translator A.E. Stallings is known for her mastery of highly structured forms and her exquisite treatment of language. A recipient of a MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Grant, Stallings is a voice of the past in the present, praised by the Yale Review as “not a perfect poet but a poet of perfection.”

This event is part of SAL’s 2017/18 Poetry Series.
