Event Information

Critically acclaimed and widely loved, Isabel Allende returns to the SAL stage after 30 years to discuss her dynamic career and her newest book, “In the Midst of Winter”. Author of more than 20 best-selling works, all written in her native Spanish, Allende continues to turn a Eurocentric literary canon upside down with her gut-wrenchingly human stories.

This event is part of SAL’s 2017/18 Literary Arts Series.
