Event Information

This intensive, two-day, hands-on workshop with ceramic artist Sue Roberts is for beginning and experienced artists. Sue will demonstrate building a small figure using slabs, coils, and solid forms which will be hollowed out. She will guide students in using the figure to tell a story through their own personal and cultural experiences, with an emphasis on humor.
Both class days will involve morning and afternoon demonstrations on figure construction, surface design and finishing/glazing techniques.

Demonstrations will be followed by concentrated studio time and individual attention.
