Call for East King County Artists
We are a small Nonprofit, 501c3 Arts Organization serving Eastside Artists of King County*, with opportunity for high visibility shows in the historic neighborhood of Georgetown in Seattle Washington.
We invite Eastside Artists to submit a sample of three works in painting, drawing, collage, printmaking or other traditional fine art for opportunity to show during Georgetown Art Attack. Please also include an artist statement, Biography, resume and current representation if available.
We ask for no fee to review your work, but if accepted we ask for a $30 annual membership fee to cover administrative, materials and space costs.
If accepted, you are asked to have your work ready to hang on the Friday prior to Saturday’s Georgetown Art Attack (Second Saturday of each month) and be available during the shows’ entirety on Saturday, then again for take-down on Sunday-Post Art Attack. You are welcome to provide snacks or beverage for your reception as well.
ArtForma intends to provide Eastside Artists with this opportunity for visibility and community in order to further the goals, networks and art-economy on the Eastside regarding future shows and opportunities. Therefore, we are interested in supporting emergent and mid-career artists who are under-represented in the local art scene. As we look forward to building a solid community of professional artists on the Eastside, we first intend to gain a following in more established art circles, before making our entrée to Eastside neighborhoods.
We are looking forward to seeing your work! Please send digital submission package to email@example.com
