From Titian’s 16th-century Venus to Andy Warhol’s iconic 20th-century Mickey Mouse, artists have long been inspired by fictional characters of mythology and culture. The Nave invites 21st-century artists to submit work inspired by fictitious heroes, villains, lovers and more. All visual artists working in 2-D and 3-D media (including video and installation) are welcome.
