Artist Trust invites visual artists in Washington State to apply to the EDGE Professional Development Program. The EDGE Program offers artists a comprehensive survey of professional practices through a hands-on, interactive curriculum that includes instruction by
professionals in the field as well as specialized presentations, panel discussions, and assignments. The objective of the EDGE Program is to provide artists with the relevant and necessary entrepreneurial skills to achieve their personal career goals as well as to develop peer support and exchange. Since 2003, over 600 artists have successfully completed the EDGE Program.

This one-week intensive will be held at Centrum, a center for arts and creative education located in historic Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend.
October 24 –31, 2015. The program will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, October, 24. Full sessions will then run 9:00am – 5:30pm from Sunday, October 25 through Friday, October 30. The final presentations will be on Saturday, October 31th, 9:00am – 12:00pm.
$715 for Artist Trust members; $795 for non-members. Need-based, Latino/a and Filipino/a artist scholarships available. Fees include lodging for the week.
EDGE is open to emerging or mid-career visual artists. Applicants must be residents of Washington State, but cannot be students enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program. Applicants must commit to completing the entire 50+ hour program.
