Northwest Film Forum, Capitol Hill / Space Access service / Call for Artists

Submission fee

For more information visit:

This service makes multiple rooms in our Capitol Hill venue available at no cost every Thursday, in one-hour blocks from 11am to 4pm. The service is intended for daytime meeting and practice space for independent artists and grassroots community groups.

Depending on the size of your group and the rooms’ availability, you may use the large theater (118 seats), small theater (46 seats), workshop room (12 seats) or edit suite (6 computer stations).

Staff support is not available for these rentals; a staff member will greet you, show you to the room, and share the wifi info, but there is no additional support for Space Access rentals. Computers and software in the edit suite will be accessible, and login information will be provided for bookings in that space. The workshop room has speakers and a projector which can connect to your laptop via HDMI and Thunderbolt.

This is an experiment in addressing a community need, so please give us your feedback to let us know how it’s working!

Visit the Grants & Access page of our website to read the FAQs and guidelines before submitting a request to use the space. >>
