Overview

We are seeking volunteers for the Olympic Sculpture Park in Downtown Seattle. There are three different volunteer opportunities at OSP: Ambassadors, Information Desk, and Park Stewards. See below for details. To apply, please complete a volunteer application on the Seattle Art Museum’s website and indicate which OSP volunteer opportunity you are interested in.

AMBASSADOR - Greet and welcome visitors, answer questions and provide accurate information about the Neukom Vivarium and other artwork at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Prospective volunteers should enjoy interacting with the public. Training required, provided by SAM. Two shifts per month, 3 hours, Saturdays or Sundays.

INFORMATION DESK - Welcome Olympic Sculpture Park visitors and give accurate information about all aspects of the park. Requires excellent communication skills, a sincere enjoyment of people and the ability to deal positively with all visitors. Knowledge of Seattle and tourist attractions is helpful. Two shifts per month, 3 hours, Saturdays or Sundays.

PARK STEWARD - Work outdoors! Assist Olympic Sculpture Park staff with landscape maintenance projects, weeding, invasive plant removal, etc. Prospective volunteers should enjoy the outdoors and interacting with the public. Training required, provided by SAM. Two shifts per month, 2-3 hours, Tuesdays - Sundays.
