Overview
New approaches to concept and form are the life‐blood of art. Young artists frequently lead
the way unfettered by expectations. But a major hurdle for any artist starting out is getting their work into major urban centers. The Phoenix Gallery, located in Chelsea, New York, is sponsoring an Emerging Artist Program to provide a venue for young artists to present their work in this context. Two Artists will be selected by jury and will be given a solo exhibition and a one-year membership to the Phoenix Gallery during the 2012 season.
