Overview

The Sustainable Arts Society, is a non-profit organization offering creative artists the opportunity for quiet contemplation and intellectual productivity, through a artists residency program, in a rural Appalachian setting. Its fellwoships allow the artists to live and work in solitude and in a community with like-spirited individuals away from the cares and turmoil of the contemporary everyday world.
