A partnership bringing together Arts Northwest, NAPAMA, and the Graduate Arts Administration Program at the University of New Orleans has introduced the newly establishedCERTIFIED PERFORMING ARTS EXECUTIVE (CPAE)

Program for both Managers/Agents and Presenters.

CPAE courses will be taught through UNO’s Graduate Program in Arts Administration both on-line and on site at various industry meeting places such as regional booking conferences,  throughout the year. 

Eight, 3-hour modules plus an exit exam are required for certification. Interactive online sessions will meet once a month, always on the 4th Tuesday at 7:00 PM Eastern time, until the 8 sessions are completed. There will be an additional assignment to complete before being officially certified, with a 2-year time window to complete the certification.

Fees: The total fee is $2,500:  $50 registration fee to enter the UNO system, 8 class modules @ $300 each, $50 test & exit fee to gain certification. Information on how to log into the UNO system will be sent once 10-people have registered for a class, with course materials available online. There will be an audit option following certification

The first course segment focusing on Arts and the Law begins Jan 24th, 2012 (see below).
