We are inviting local artists and crafters to apply for vending space in our beautiful movement studio conveniently located on the corner of Division and Harrison, on the West side of Olympia. Mother’s day weekend will be a great opportunity for marketing special gifts for moms and others. Community members are encouraged to bring their mothers for a lovely inter-generational experience. We intend to feature some live music through the day as well. Last May our event was well attended by a wide swath of Olympia community and got rave reviews from many. It’s going to just keep blossoming!

We are seeking to jury handmade original work; two and three dimensional, as well as edible treats. Applications are being accepted by email until March 24, 2012 at arts@waves-studio.com.  We will let you know by April 10th of approval, at which time your booth fee of $40.00 is due.

We will be printing promotional postcards and create a digital flier, copies of which will be available to you. We ask all participating artists to help promote the event through your mailing lists. Together we can create an awesome community event!

We need: (preferably in one email, even if we know you from past events)
- 3 high quality photos of your work (.jpg)
- Your name, business name, contact info, a description of your offerings including what materials you use, price range, what other markets you sell your work in, and a description of your display.

Artists will be responsible for their own tables and display materials and must be willing to felt the feet of everything to insure protection of our lovely dance floor. We can supply felt for your use if necessary. Booth spaces are 8’ x 8’ There are a some backing up to the outer walls, some backing up to the front windows, a center island of back to back booths as well as a few in our front lobby. If you can create a display that works to utilize the front display windows please let us know. We do have men’s and women’s changing rooms available for dressing rooms and some booths could have electricity if required. Please clearly communicate your needs with your application so that we can do our best to accommodate everyone.
