Actors’ Fund of America

Actors' Fund of America provides services for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals including designers, writers, sound technicians, musicians, dancers, administrators, directors, film editors, stagehands and actors. The Actors' Fund operates programs designed to meet the needs of entertainment professionals throughout their lives. Programs include: Mental Health Services, Chemical Dependency Services, The AIDS Initiative, Senior and Disabled Programs, and the Women's Health Initiative. The Actors' Fund also offers Artists' Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC), which is an online database for health insurance information, geared towards artists. It provides information to assist in making informed choices about individual and small business group health insurance options. Listings are by state, including Washington.
