Located in Seattle’s University District, the Metal Crafting Center offers courses in jewelry design and small-scale decorative metal working. Classes, scheduled quarterly, range in skill level, length, and explore a wide variety of technique. Their facility boasts a live video close-up camera for magnified views of detail instruction, as well as a hydraulic press, extensive library, and an additional class room out-fitted with two kilns for enameling and PMC, separate from the 10-bench main studio. In addition, they offer opportunities for mentored independent study, private instruction, and open studio rental.
