Second Thursday Art walk just got better!The public is invited to look at  over 20 local artists work ,peruse galleries, shop and dine from 5-8Pm at Kirkland's Second Thursday Art walk .Stroll Parklane and Lake Street. Visit our waterfront parks . A lovely evening , and all for free. Artists are set-up outside. October-April Second Thursday moves indoors at the Heathman Hotel . Local Sightings is Northwest Film Forum's premier showcase of Northwest filmmaking. The festival features great prizes, filmmaker parties, archival Northwest films and an impressive national film industry jury looking for strong Northwest work.

The annual festival includes both feature film presentations as well as short film programs and special events with live film performances, installation art, audience participation and parties.

As an artistic medium, glass creates magic! From inspiration to creation process to finished piece, glass evokes emotions. Nearly everyone feels drawn to glass and is fascinated by its illusiveness. The 2010 Glass Art Festival will provide the public with a variety of opportunities to view a diverse selection of glass art and to experience and discover all that goes into its creation.

This October, Theatre Puget Sound will present Arts Crush, a month-long festival that connects artists and audiences with invigorating new experiences at hundreds of events across the region.  More than 200 arts organizations and innumerable artists from all over the Puget Sound will come together as a united arts community to share arts experiences with people of all kinds.
