The Photocloset is a membership based, 24-hour access, fully equipped black and white darkroom w/ a digital work station. $75/ month membership fee provides access to multiple enlargers, med & large format negative carriers and lenses, Apple Power MAC G4 w/ Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, scanner, internet access, Epson 1700 large format printer, private storage space and daylight workspace. Also includes chemicals and printer ink.

tryptos studio collective is a group of working artists cooperatiing to sustain studio space conducive to creating our art. We are located in Old Ballard, and while our space is not posh it is productive, convenient and satisfying as well as cost-effective.

ArtistLink, a Massachusetts based organization, has developed the ArtistLink website which features over 100 pages of comprehensive information for artists on the topic of artists space, including live/work space and workspace. Once on the site, click into the "for artists" section. Included on the site is a first time homebuying class for artists and information for developers of artist space and municipalities interested in the artist space issue.

Art/Not Terminal Gallery, a Washington State non-profit, seeks new members on an ongoing basis. There is no fee for membership, just a hanging fee for artists who wish to exhibit their work, and a required minimum of six hours of gallery work in a month.
