In a city known for dance artists with a theatrical flair, Break a Heart features some of Seattle’s most beloved practitioners as they turn the OtB Mainstage Theater into a loungy, alcohol-soaked cabaret on the theme of love, conveniently scheduled around one of the most unfortunate holidays of the year. The project features collections of talented local choreographers, including dance stalwart Wade Madsen, Crispin Spaeth, Diana Cardiff, Kristina Dillard, ilvs strauss/Jody Kuehner, Sara Jinks and Juliet Waller Pruzan/Stephen Hando. Collectively these artists have experience performing with companies such as Pat Graney Company, d9 Dance Collective, Buttrock Suites, Re-bar Brown Derby Series, Big Red Dance, Ten Tiny Dances (Seattle) and Printer’s Devil Theater.
