The International Artists-in-Residence Program of Schloss Bleckede offers artists the opportunity to develop their work in the course of a residential scholarship of three or six months. Since 1979, the Künstlerstätte Schloss Bleckede has been seeking to promote young artists who explore innovative positions in the field of contemporary art. This residency takes place in the historic castle of Bleckede, which has been restored and transformed into three studios. Each studio provides an extensive work space and a comfortable living area. The castle is located in the nature reserve Elbufer Drawehn close to the river Elbe. The placid environment guarantees an atmosphere of undisturbed concentration. The scholarship includes a monthly grant of 1400 euros, which is made available for up to three scholarship holders at any one time by the state of Lower Saxony. INFO Deadline: September |
