A CALL FOR ARTISTS for the second annual presentation of CHOP SHOP:  Bodies of Work  at Meydenbauer Theater on February 7th and 8th, 2009.  This unique contemporary dance festival presents the best that the Seattle/Eastside has to offer.  Last year's festival culminated with outstanding reviews and high audience turnout.  Chosen artists will receive a performance fee as well as generous tech time.  Directors/Choreographers may also participate in paid masters classes/lectures/discussion panels that will be offered to the public during the daytime hours of the festival.  
 
Works presented are not to exceed 15 mins. in length.  Please send a DVD/VHS sample and a brief explanation of the work along with a return SASE to:
