New Logo! New Identity! You may have noticed the missing logo on the cover of this issue, now that we have a new name we need a new logo! We will be holding a new logo contest for members to help design the new WCA logo. Get out your drawing pencils and start designing! We are hoping to collect many excellent designs and then have members vote on our new logo. Please turn in any design ideas to Sandra Farmer by October 20. You may email to sandramariefarmer@gmail.com or snail mail 110 W Boston St, Seattle WA 98119. We will have a vote at the next Shebang on October 25. We will also try and post the designs on the website for those that can’t make it to the meeting. We want every member to have a say in these big decisions. We hope to launch our new look in the Jan. 2009 issue. If you are interested in helping with the new changes please contact Gary Georger at planckpottery@yahoo.com. We will be putting together a few different committees to help this process along, and we will need volunteers for each. Important info about participation: If you wish to participate in the juried show, you must arrive one half hour before the scheduled meeting time (1:30). You may enter up to two pieces. All members participating in the juried show will receive one enter to win ticket. Ribbons will be awarded. Members who bring a non-member will receive an additional enter to win ticket.
