In the early 1980’s I observed a phenomenon in a photograph of a mirrored hillside visible in the still waters of Washington state’s Lake Chelan. When rotated 90° this photograph came to life before my eyes and, instead of a hillside on the water’s edge, I saw an infinite array of never before seen embedded images on the shoreline of the lake.
