This holiday season, we are reminded to send our gratitude for your inspired support of our work and of Washington State artists. Artist Trust is proud to partner with you to make Washington State a place where artists have the resources to challenge us, move us, and help us make sense of ourselves and the world.

Thanks to you and our entire Artist Trust community, 2019 has been an outstanding year in artist support: we granted over $300,000 to over 80 Washington State artists, debuted the Vadon Fellowship for Native Artists, a $10,000 grant for a native artist of any tribe working in Washington State, introduced the SOLA Awards in partnership with artist Ginny Ruffner, provided professional development programs for over 2,000 artists in 13 counties, and much more.

What is most important, of course, is that artists feel that they have a friend, a home, and a support system in Artist Trust. Whether you are an artist, donor, or community member, you are an integral part of this unique community, and we look forward to starting a new decade and making 2020 another remarkable year – together.

On behalf of the Artist Trust staff and board, warmest wishes for a joyous winter season and thank you for your support.

Shannon Roach Halberstadt
