About the Artist
Alice Marshall (Seattle) is mining family fables for a constellation of stories. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at the University of Washington. Her stories and poems have appeared in Buffalo Spree, Byline, Best New American Voices 2007 and other publications. She has been a writer in residence through Seattle Arts and Lectures, and a frequent visiting professor at Seattle University.
