About the Artist
The daughter and granddaughter of artists, Angelena McQuarter (Seattle) inherited the Creative Muse at birth. Prompted by her mother, she entered and won a metal fabricating contest by age eight. Etched in memory is how she witnessed her grandmother create sculptures from clay, with amazing detail and dexterity, in spite of her blindness. The awe of that early experience fuels Angelena’s love of creativity, evident in the many artistic mediums she expresses. A mentor of young people, she encourages them to re-member their creative souls and bring them to the light, as she was taught and benefits from more each day.
