About the Artist
Cynthia Hall is a Northwest-based artist, working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. She draws inspiration from the patterns, rhythms, and movement found in nature. The forest, grasslands, and misty waterways are the source for her semi-abstract images that capture the feeling of a moment, reflected through her unique vision.
After studying at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, in Rome, Italy, and receiving her BFA, Cynthia was awarded a First Prize Fellowship in Painting from the Massachusetts Arts and Humanities Foundation. She went on to pursue a career in marketing, while remaining active in art. Today, when she’s not in the studio, she volunteers with Artist Trust.
