About the Artist
Dan Loewenstein (Lake Forest Park) earned an MFA from the University of California, San Diego, and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. He has been making art for over 40 years and has an extensive exhibition record throughout the US. Dan has received numerous fellowships, grants, and awards including artist residencies at Pilchuck Glass School and Headlands Center for the Arts. He has taught for 18 years including positions at Tyler School of Art, Washington University, Ohio University and the University of Washington. Dan is a sculptor and installation artist, and has been recently exploring printmaking, including photo-etching and photogravure.
