About the Artist
John Osgood (Seattle) is an urban contemporary artist and muralist originally from Edmonds, Washington. He graduated from Washington State University with a minor in fine arts. John has created murals all over the Puget Sound area and Internationally, and in 2010 and 2011 was one of a few US artists invited to the UK’s Urban Mural Art festival called “Upfest.” He has also shown in multiple galleries and venues around Seattle including, ArtsWest Gallery, CoCA (Center on Contemporary Art) Gallery, Henry Art Gallery Open Studio, Flatcolor Gallery, Halogen Gallery, Twilight Artist Collective and more. He also runs a small gallery in Seattle called Bherd Studios where he curates exhibits for other up-and-coming Pacific Northwest artists. In 2013 John was featured in CityArts magazine.
