About the Artist
Katy E. Ellis has written poetry that has most recently appeared in Alehouse: Poetry on Tap, Calyx: A Journal of Art and Literature by Women, as well as in Sycamore Review, Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, Faultline, and in the Canadian journals Grain and Fiddlehead. She has served as poetry co-editor for The Bellingham Review, as non-fiction editor for The Inner Harbour Review (Victoria, B.C.), and as consulting editor for the ‘zine Rinse and Repeat. The King County Arts Commission awarded her a literary grant in 2001. Her chapbook Urban Animal Expeditions (Dancing Girl Press) is forthcoming in July 2012.
