About the Artist
Harnessing the heat of my kilns, torches, and environmental commitment, I transform glass shards and metal scraps into work that mirrors the fragmented aspects of our complex world and advocates for our planet’s health.
Much of my work begins as foam or clay shapes pressed into the molds I began using at Pilchuck Glass School. Thousands of .25” glass cubes are fused in these molds to become pate de verre (paste of glass) sculptures, my interpretation of an ancient Roman technique.
