About the Artist
Michelle Kim (Seattle) studied printmaking and design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC and received her BFA in 2006. In 2010 she received the ArtBridge Fellowship through Pratt Fine Arts. During this Fellowship, Michelle developed a new series of prints that reveal both a personal narrative and one that speaks to the universal feelings of fear, loneliness, and isolation. Recently, her prints were part of the 2011 Introductions show at SAM Gallery in Seattle, Washington.
