About the Artist
Miles Caudesch lives on the Palouse of southeastern Washington State and works as a no-till farmer with the region’s sustainable agricultural communities. She serves the land as it serves her; she cares for people as they learn to care for themselves. For Miles, art means living well and giving away compassion. Miles wants her poetry to find a place of empathy in people, offering them hope—to believe, to change, to try something new, to try anything at all, to imagine, to turn around, to find something beautiful worth keeping.
