About the Artist
Molly Magai (Seattle) was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. There she learned to appreciate the unnatural beauty of industrial landscapes in an area full of decaying heavy industry, with abandoned rusting factories and mountains of slag. In her recent paintings, she hopes to express the beauty, menace, and joy in a landscape created by people for cars.
Molly has lived and worked in Seattle since 1992. She has exhibited locally at many venues including Gallery 110, the Washington State Convention Center, and the Centennial Center Gallery in Kent.
