About the Artist
Sara Zin (Everett) is a figurative painter that specializes in the human form. Her current series of paintings may be seen as self-portraits, but her aim is to illustrate the process of thought and contemplation in an attempt to connect the viewer of the painting and provoke the viewer’s own internal questioning. She now seeks to paint models of different race and disposition to allow for a more diverse connection between painting and viewer.
Sara received 2008 GAP Award funding to hire models for her latest series of paintings.
