About the Artist
Sarah Jones (Seattle) is a visual artist who makes two-dimensional and three-dimensional work with paper, fiber and ephemera. She studied painting and printmaking at the University of Utah and was awarded an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Her work deals with issues of representing the abject. She is a 2013 recipient of an artist residency at Haystack School of Mountain Crafts in Maine, as well as an Ucross Foundation Artist Residency.
