About the Artist
I’m a narrative sculptor in love with the earth and by extension, clay. My pieces feature animals, but refer to our human interconnectedness, including our conflicts, strength, and fragility. I want my work to reach out and engage with the beautiful animal in each of us.
I studied sculpture and life drawing while majoring in Biology in college, followed by graduate work in Architecture. Now that my two sons are grown, I am heeding the call to sculpt again, and have found wonderfully inspiring people and resources in the Seattle area.
My work is in private collections and has been shown at the Kirkland Art Center. I currently do most of my sculpting at Seward Park Clay Studio.
