About the Artist
My artwork tells stories. Within my abstracts one can see images, some mystical, others form three-dimensional worlds of lines shapes and colors.
Art is a big part of our culture. It is a visual language and a tool for communication, to bring people together. Art comes from the community and reflects different aspects of it. My art is an invitation to an open conversation.
I have been an abstract expressionist painter for many year. I have a teaching degree in special education and an MA in art therapy which I finished at the George Washington University in 2000. I am a full-time artist, and an art teacher.
