ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Artist Trust’s GAP Awards are $1,500 project-based grants open to artists of all disciplines. In this intensive workshop, you’ll write a draft of your GAP Award application from scratch. A presentation by Artist Trust staff covers best practices for work samples, artist resumes, biographies, and other application components. In-class exercises will help you prepare your written materials, and small group discussions led by AT staff and previous GAP recipients provide individualized feedback and direction. Whether you’ve applied for GAP in the past or have never applied for a grant, you’ll leave this workshop with a solid application draft and examples of successful applications from previous awardees.
*PLEASE NOTE: Space in this workshop is extremely limited. Only RSVP if you intend to attend the whole session.
*Participants should bring a laptop to draft materials and pen and paper for note-taking.
