ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
The growing number of media outlets and platforms has created more opportunity for you to share your work, yet it’s difficult to determine the best way to market your art or find the time to develop and implement a PR/marketing campaign while you focus on creating work. This workshop, led by publicist Staci Smith, guides you step-by-step through the media relations process and helps you determine the most cost- and time-effective methods and resources for launching a successful campaign regardless of the scope of your project, your budget, or time restrictions. At the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to create your own pitch and identify at least one media outlet to approach.
*This workshop is open to artists of all disciplines and is ideal for artists in search of press for a project or body of work and artists who’d like insider knowledge of media relations and building a successful PR campaign that complements your overall marketing goals.
