Vulcan Arts and Entertainment is searching for a Digital Marketing Specialist to play a key role in Vulcan’s Arts + Entertainment division. The ideal candidate is a savvy digital marketer who is creative, a strategic thinker and possess outstanding analytical capabilities. They will have a passion for e-mail marketing, love digging into data, analyzing trends, and developing innovative strategies to maximize digital campaign performance and measure success. The candidate must be able to work effectively across a wide range of internal teams, lead short term and long-term projects, and comfortably and quickly adjust to changing priorities and situations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Play a key role in building and maintaining Vulcan Arts + Entertainment digital properties, both websites and social properties.
•Contribute to the development of overall marketing campaigns, specifically email marketing strategy to grow and optimize email marketing channels.
•Manage and execute email marketing efforts for Vulcan Arts + Entertainment events including, list segmentation, pre-deployment testing and integration with ticketing platforms.
•Proactively monitor metrics (open rates/click-through/deliverability/etc.) and provide analysis of marketing campaigns and recommendations for enhancing effectiveness.
•Continuously develop and strengthen skills within designated marketing tools/software.
•Support and optimize paid social and digital marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing colleagues at Vulcan Arts + Entertainment entities to share best practices.
•Inform social content publishing strategy and analyze content efficacy.
•Support team leads on projects and initiatives as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to Cinerama, Seattle Art Fair and Upstream Music Fest + Summit.

Knowledge, experience, skill, and/or ability
•Skilled in e-mail marketing platforms (Preferred: Marketo, MailChimp, Campaign Monitor)
•Knowledge of key email fundamentals including copywriting best practices, deliverability, spam complaint rates, A/B split testing, etc.
•General understanding of HTML coding/email assets and the ability to troubleshoot last-minute changes
•Experience managing email campaigns requiring high levels of email segmentation
•Experience managing social media publishing and ad management tools
•Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
•Solid analytical experience and aptitude; passion for using data to make decisions
•Ability to effectively write copy and assist in briefing creative design work
•Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited institution and 3 plus years relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
