Burien’s Gallery Program is seeking submissions from visual artists working in 2D and 3D media for exhibitions in 2027. Selected artists will exhibit work in one of three public art spaces, each with unique display opportunities and artist stipends.

Burien Community Center Lobby Wall—2D Only
14700 6th Ave SW
2-month exhibit
$50 artist stipend
Maverick Apartments Window—2D or 3D
150th and 6th Ave SW
336 square ft. window with glass on two sides
This space is great for installations and large artwork.
4-month exhibit
$250 artist stipend
Merrill Gardens Senior Living Windows -2D or 3D
4th and 150th SW
Nine Windows, ground level windows
4-month exhibit
$250 artist stipend
How to Apply
• Complete the application form
• All works will be juried; notifications will be emailed mid-October
• Incomplete applications may not be considered.
• Artists are strongly encouraged to visit the exhibition spaces before applying.
