A Seattle-based legal team is seeking a documentary filmmaker or small production team to produce a short documentary (approximately 10 to 20 minutes) for use in a judicial proceeding. The film combines newly recorded sit-down interviews with archival footage and photographs already gathered. The team provides story direction; the filmmaker brings the craft.

This is a paid contract funded through government funds. The subject matter is serious and the story begins in a difficult place, so we are looking for someone who can handle heavy material with honesty and care. No prior experience with the legal system is required, just strong interview-driven documentary skills (shooting, sound, and editing). Full details are shared with the selected filmmaker under a confidentiality agreement.
