Bainbridge Arts & Crafts, a 76 year old nonprofit arts organization and gallery, seeks an Executive Director who will advance its mission of artist support and arts education into the next level of achievement and sustainability. The full job description is posted at the link below.

Qualifications will include most if not all of the following:

Leadership experience (at the manager+ level) in an arts and/or cultural nonprofit organization; passion for the arts; a successful record in development, grants writing and fundraising; fiscal management acumen; a record of organizational management showing the ability to develop and mentor staff, manage volunteers; community engagement successes; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with press, media, website publicity; proven ability to work successfully with an engaged Board of Directors and Advisory Council; ability to work collaboratively with other organizations, diverse groups, and community entities; familiarity with the Bainbridge Island community. The ideal candidate will have curatorial and/or arts leadership experience in a gallery, museum, or other visual arts environment. Applicants will hold at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with an emphasis in nonprofit management, the arts, design, or a related field.

The salary for this position is $75,000 plus benefits.
